Our mature hens are sourced from local regenerative farms across South Australia.

 

Our ladies have spent their days foraging outdoors in natural sun light with unrestricted access to open pastures. 

 

They have been free to feast on a diet of bugs, grass and premium non-GMO, non-soy feed to produce the very best ethically grown and nutrient dense eggs for the local community.

 

Our pullets join us at 16 weeks of age and are ready to start their egg laying life with you. Pullets are $30 each and available to collect from Sellicks Hill. 

 

Our mature hens are available at varying times throughout the year, subject to commercial availability. Mature hens are $7 each and are currently available to collect from Sellicks Hill and Ashbourne.

Mature hens require adequate nutrition to support consistent egg production and overall health and for this we recommend our quality farmers layer mix which is currently used on farm, this premium blend of non-soy, non-GMO feed has been formulated to provide hens the best nutrition possible and will ensure a smooth transition from farm to you, available in 5kg ($10) and 20kg bags ($30)
